In India, it is one of the most watched reality show and its viewers are not limited by age and gender or region, rather it has seen all around the India. The concept is basically copied from Australian version of this show which is much popular in Australia. On Star Plus it started premiered on 16th October 2010 till today it has completed 6 seasons. The important thing is after completion of the show, participants got opportunity to work with prestigious hotels, and even they start their own venture.

Master Chef Season 1 Winner: Pankaj Bhadouria

She won the first season of this show in 2010 before chef she was a teacher and then she left her job and started her career in it. She also hosted a TV Show Pankaj Ka Zayka (Star Plus) Kifayati Kitchen (Zee Khana Khazana), 3 Course with Pankaj(Zee Khana Khazana), Rasoi se- Pankaj Bhadouria ke Saath(ETV), Sales Ka Baazigar(ETV). She also owns a café in Lucknow knows as café by Default. She also wrote a biography MasterChef Cookbook in 2011, Barbie- I am a Chef, Chicken From My Kitchen: The Indian Way in 2014 & The Secret’s in the Spice Mix in 2017.

Master Chef Season 2 Winner- Shipra Khanna

In Season 2 there were three finalists’ contestant’s name were Shipra Khanna, Joseph Rozario, and Salma Shazia. She belongs to Shimla and after winning of Second season she appear in many other show like Kitchen Stars Ka Saffar, after winning the show. She makes her appearance in many shows like Flavours of Ramdan, Rock a Bowl, Pure Sin, etc. She even published many cooking recipe books and worked with many resturant as consultant. In this show Vikas Khana replaced Akshay Kumar with other two Judges names Ajay Chopra & Kunal Kapoor.

Master Chef Season 3 Winner – Ripu Daman

In Season 3 there were 3 finalists’ Name Doel Sarangi, Navneet Rastogi and Ripu Daman. After defeating Doel and Navneet he won Season 3 title, and he also worked in many others TV Serials like Khaana Khazana, Living Foodz, etc. He also wrote a recipe book Cookbooks. In Season 3 Vikas Khanna, Kunal Kapoor & Sanjeev Kapoor were Judge.

Master Chef Season 4 Winner – Nikita Gandhi

Nikita Gandhi was the winner of 4th Season. She was from Abu Dhabi and later on she shifted to India. In this Series she befitted Deepak Shah & Bhakti Arora. She also owns a very popular food website, ‘The Veggie Fix’.

Master Chef Season 5 Winner – Kirti Bhoutika

She is from Kolkata won Season 5th by defeated Ashima Arora, Dinesh Patel and Mirvaan Vinayak. She was one of the youngest Master Chef. She also owns a bakery with name ‘Sugar Plum Cakery’. In this show Vikash Khana, Kunal Kapoor & Zorawar Kalra were the Judges.

Master Chef Season 6 Winner – Abinas Nayak

Abhinas Nayak is an engineer by profession but Chef by passion, won this season 6 after winning the season 6 he started working as food stylist and created much food which you won’t able to find in any restaurant. He started his career from Infosys as System Engineer after completion of B. Tech from Biju Pattnaik University. In 2019, he participated in this show and won season 6.
